The Holocaust Industry[edit]
Just yesterday I've started reading The Holocaust Industry, by Norman Finkelstein. Worth an article? Maybe someone else can do the heavy lifting and I can make a few edits and take all the credit? Sounds good?---brxbrx 23:39, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
- I think I'm almost finished with chapter 2. Man, Norman Finkelstein really does not like Eli Wiesel.---brxbrx 04:07, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- I read a few chapters of it a long, long time ago. If I remember correctly, it makes some good points but flies off the rails by setting up the worst offenders as strawmen -- sort of like writing a criticism of Andrea Dworkin and then going, "See, this is why feminism is evil." I think Ruth Kluger's criticisms of "museum culture" were much more even-handed. Nebuchadnezzar (talk) 04:24, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
