2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Idea about these[edit]

there's been a bit of moaning about these, which is that they tend to draw unwarranted attention to our shorter and crappier articles. Perhaps we should get rid of the randomiser bit and jest have each box showcase the best (least bad) articles in that set? SophieWilder 16:48, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

A better idea would be to strive towards everything being of an acceptable standard. If you notice something crappy appearing in a navigation template, either improve it or nominate it for deletion/funspace/whatever. WèàšèìòìďWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 17:27, 5 May 2013 (UTC)

Another randomizer idea, how about we make sure the randomized article list doesn't have repeats of articles in it? I don't know how wikicode, but it doesn't seem difficult to make a for loop and if the new one is equal to an earlier one, just rerandomize it until it works149.19.41.38 (talk) 17:30, 10 March 2022 (UTC)Bumpf
