No offence but this wasn't really what I had in mind. This is basically a repeat of the Conservapedia:Timeline, maybe some of this can be reused though. - π 03:07, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Top ten[edit]
Okay here are the results:
- Conservative Bible project.
- Andy invents the phrase "best of the public".
- Andy goes on the Colbert Report.
- Andy discovers Conservapedia's Law and geometric fits.
- Roger and Andy's epic battle over the theory of relativity.
- Andy endorses the liberal detecting bot and promotes a small army of parodists
- PJR starts his own Conservapedia.
- Andy's bizarre word counting experiment.
- TK uploads an image he nicked claiming it was "self made". When his plagiarism is pointed out he banhammers the pointer-outers and burns the talk page claiming it contains "lies".
- Karajou introduces the weakly cartoon to the mainpage.
- Andy claims humor did not exist before Jesus
- Bugler outs himself.
- Andy composes Born Outside the U.S.A.!
- The server explodes and a weeks worth of edits are lost.
- The number of blocked IP addresses peaks at over 27,000,000.
- ♥ K e n D o l l ' s ♥ 30 hour edit-a-thon.
- JessicaT's running battles with TK and her subsequent demotion.
- ♥ K e n D o l l ♥'s operation amount to nothing as CP's evolution article slips from 11 right back to somewhere on the third page on Google.
- Jinxmchue loses and regains his banhammer.
- TK gets his admin rights back.
The most common arguments I will expect against this list is:
- Several of these are overlapping for example Andy's bizarre word counting experiment lead to Conservapedia's Law.
- Bugler outs himself was mentioned in last years.
Also I think "Andy endorses the liberal detecting bot and promotes a small army of parodists" should just be about the liberal bot, Andy is always promoting armies of parodists. - π 00:01, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
Can we change the wording in the first paragraph in regards to Obama being the "first" president that isn't 100% white?[edit]
A Google search provides numerous reliable sources that say otherwise. Perhaps we could change it to "The United States inaugurated its first obviously non-white president..."? Dexter111344 (talk) 09:36, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
