I gotta say, I'm on Big C's side down at the bottom there. I'd love to see them go to town, fully developing their own brand of Conservative worldview in every single one of those stubs. More articles like ToE, Homosexuality and Intelligent Design == more lulz for the rest of us. --Kels 18:44, 29 July 2007 (CDT)

I like the general idea, too. And (content quality aside) Conservative has a point - this is exactly why people added Stub templates: To invite others to work.
What I don't like is how they treat it like some horrible vandal tool. They already got Stub and Fact templates, and they already remove them whenever they don't like their insertion, so it's not like anything would change. They already say that people should use the Fact template when a sentence needs a cite, but they also remove fact tags from bogus claims whenever the claim in question is "good" in their ultra-right-wing view. So adding yet another level of "Cite Request" won't change a thing.
The only problem is that Conservative effectively deflects work - he won't leave his pet articles, so the actual work would be left to the others. --Sid 19:06, 29 July 2007 (CDT)
I don't see how it could possibly hurt, though I am not sure why I am discussing this here. More citations would be good for CP. Resident vandal
Well, seeing as pretty much none of us can discuss over there (even if the discussion was held in public, I think no regular RW member is unbanned at CP), I appreciate that a sysop chats with us here. Communication is always a good thing in my eyes. :)
And yes, more cites are always a good thing. I'd actually prefer an AiG cite to a completely uncited claim. That way I'd at least have a starting point for own research. (Of course, I'd prefer more neutral sources, but I'd take what I can get.) --Sid 19:50, 29 July 2007 (CDT)

Deletion[edit]

Well that isn't going to be popular. Many lulz go out to Niandra. Good work. ɧєɭıסş-get sunburn! 12:55, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

That might cause a minor splash, yeah... --Sid 13:04, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
The classic thing about it is that she then goes on to make a minor copyedit to Manga. Now that is style. -- מְתֻרְגְּמָן וִיקִי שְׁלֹום!
Quite. ɧєɭıסş-get sunburn! 13:09, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
Well I'm gonna go find anything else worth taking off the sysop namespace. ɧєɭıסş-get sunburn! 13:10, 1 August 2007 (CDT)

heh. they will just start posting all of this kind o stuff in TK's "special-discussion-group" (google group) for CPSysops. That's the group TK made for himself and AndyS, Ed Poor, DanH, Geo.plr, TerryH, Karajou, and the other CP Sysops he considers important and/or trustworthy. Of course some of the sysops haven't been told the group exists- and they've excluded Niandra, Bohden, Hoji, Joaquin Martinez, Crocoite, and a couple of other sysops - but it's supposed to be a secret! (so sshhhhhhh!) LOL. 85.195.119.22 16:14, 1 August 2007 (CDT)
