Great battles[edit]
This is easy, because there were not many great battles of World War I.

Another great battle omitted[edit]
He seems to have left out Vimy Ridge, which had a significant influence on perceptions of Canada. Imarcuson (talk) 06:19, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
Andy may (unintentionally) be half right(!)[edit]
Andy's bizarre and inept explanatory note on "shelled” (fired many shots and bombs)" is actually not as wrong as Ironclad's comment suggests. Though the "shots" bit is inept (unless talking about shotgun pellets or age of sail/U.S. Civil war era solid shot), the "bombs" part doesn't necessarily refer to " air-drop bombs", but can also refer to mortar bombs as mortar projectiles are known. Do I think Andy was aware of this? No, especially not considering the reference to shot and general ineptitude of his World Crapstory, but all the more reason not to needlessly cry foul when Andy's magnum crapus has soooooo many other glaring holes in it.
