2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

The big issue about the environment is mainly capitalism. Capitalism has to produce a lot of goods and services and has a big impact on the environment. Capitalism is right-wing. Environmentalism is left-wing. We have to chose between a good economy and a good environment. What does the Christian Right think about that? What do Christian supporters of capitalism think about that?

Dunno, why don't you ask them? This isn't really where they hang out, though. €₳$£ΘĪÐWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 09:00, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

You can combine the two, just have the government charge for the environmental harm. There's nothing anti-capitalistic about charging for externalities, unless of course your a shill for a company who wants to do harm without paying for it.--TripleO (talk) 20:39, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
