Draft talk:Conrad Myrland
The original article claimed that Myrland is a islamophobic, far-right extremist inspired by Anders Behring Breivik. There is nothing indicating that this is true, and if it was, sources should be presented. He is calling Breivik a crook: http://www.miff.no/norge-og-israel/2011/08/09-Blir-det-mer-aapenhet-for-Israels-versjon.htm --Bellanotte (talk) 17:41, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
- No, it didn't claim that Breivik inspired Myrland, but that Myrland inspired Breivik ("inspired Anders Behring Breivik", not "inspired by Anders Behring Breivik"). The rather selective defence speech of Myrland's that you linked to also only focuses on whether Breivik is a Christian Zionist, not whether Breivik was inspired by Myrland & Co.'s virulent Islamophobia. Essentially, it's a strawman defence, because I've heard no one claim that Breivik was any sort of Zionist, or a creationist which were the areas Myrland focused on in distinguishing himself and MIFF from Breivik.
