2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

"The universe is a strange and wondrous place.
The truth is quite odd enough to need no help from pseudoscientific charlatans."

Opposing POV or alternate viewpoints are actively being sought on Conservapedia. It's just that the management wants them labeled as alternatives. You can't put liberal POV into articles and expect it to have the same standing as a conservative viewpoint. If you agree to that, almost anything goes.

I offered a while back to do a compare and contrast between liberal and conservative ideas. I spent over 6 weeks discussing the terms of this offer, but it broke down over "who gets to decide" whether a given contribution provides a fair description of a viewpoint. Perhaps we should do this exercise here, then. You all can edit mercilessly - as befits godless atheists! :-)
