Poof! can be summarised as the existence of a Human, here one second gone the next, just like a cloud of smoke. Are we here for a reason? Creatures might have an underlying purpose: to mate and reproduce, but what are we meant to do afterwards? Mate, die, mate, die forever? We evolve, of course, changing dramatically over a (in Earths eyes) short period of time, but why? Why am I here? I'm writing this here and now, but what comes next? I don't believe in heaven, its pretty illogical in my eyes, but I don't believe we just die either. Our personalities dead forever? I like the Hindu idea of reincarnation, I like it, but I don't believe it. Maybe, humans have reached a climax, where they begin to think for themselves, to look closer than just food, not food. We create heavens to try to escape from the fact that one day we will die.

So, we may be "conscious" we may be "smart" but in the end we haven't solved the most important question of all: why?
