ლ(இ益இლ)....I know what you mean. ITS LIKE UUUUUUURGGGHHHHPKdhapkdnasdknaldadswgpkf. Or...something along those lines. The only reason I'm ever checking FB is to check what nonsense is going around campus. But other than that...nothing.

Yeah you are right. FB is a RAMhog. ħumanUser talk:Human 06:33, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

It's all your personal data being sifted through and disseminated to the highest 300 bidders. Enjoy having coupons sent to your home from Bob's gold sluice company or Wallymart. Matzosphere (talk) 07:41, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

A compressed image may only be a couple kB, but in order to display it, the browser has to decompress it. Still that doesn't explain the huge size (149*116*4*133 = ~9MB for all your images, assuming they're all the same size in the album view as in my album) Try right click on any facebook page, view page info, media, then check "Block images from static.ak.fbcdn.net" (make sure you select an image from static.ak.fbcdn.net, although the domain might be different in your case, it should be an image sprite for facebook's ui). That'll block all the interface sprites, but not your photos. -- Nx / talk 11:24, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

It's not been that bad most recently since this was written. Perhaps they've got around to kicking Ajax in the nuts. Although the lack of pagination which forces you to load a host of extraneous information whenever you want to look more than a day or two back in time is still an issue.
