Forum:Article about AOLAnswers?
Hello all!
I'd like to write an article about AOLAnswers.com/Yedda.com site. Why? Well, it is owned by a major internet company, and it is an embarrassing depository of all kind of crank and nuttery (as well as spam and spyware).
Here're a couple links to the kinda material you can find on AOLAnswers: http://aolanswers.com/questions/senile-clinton-absolute-hope_735763158539730 (Bill Clinton is member of the KKK, and some other nonsense)
http://aolanswers.com/questions/italy-releasing-10-000-people_504141483092959#answer273113782912154 (Hippies are members of MS13 and are hardened criminals)
aolanswers.com/questions/obama-dumbest-man-world-misspelling_518314363268496#answer862107829123173 and aolanswers.com/questions/drunken-muslim-politics-government_504124983377209 and aolanswers.com/questions/told-politics-government-criminals_186537123801192 (Obama is a drunken Muslim hatemonger running around with members of the KKK)
http://aolanswers.com/questions/20-members-seal-team-6-downed_627511317387503 (Obama conspired to let Muslim terrorists kill US Marines)
Would an article about the site be ok? I don't want to waste my time writing something that would end up in a bin.— Unsigned, by: DrJAX / talk / contribs 18:35, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
- It looks like an obscure rip-off of Yahoo! Answers, which is borderline to the mission. Since AOLAnswers seems less popular, I suggest not bothering - the best the article could say is that the site exists and, like other such sites, attracts crap.--ZooGuard (talk) 20:34, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
- What ZooGuard said. Me, I'd just put a note about it on the page for Yahoo! Answers. KevinR1990 (talk) 14:37, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
