Forum:What is the name of this logical bias?

I've always seen the following logical bias/fallacy mostly in online discussions: "You can't criticise X because you are not in X profession" but you may recognise it more in the following form: "OMG stfu nub. you cant critic Awesome-battleshooter 2000!!!4! your not a gamedeveloper, you don't know how many work does it take too make a game like these. Go back plying you're stupid facebuk games you casual!" (I used straw man here for comedic purposes) I tried keyword searching for it, checking the long list of logical fallacies on Wikipedia but I found nothing. :/ I knew there must be a name for it, so I can finally point out to people how wrong they are, but I can't find it. Can someone help? Does someone know here? Also I can't remember the name for the "Make something better if you criticise it so much/You can only criticise it if you yourself put something better on the table" fallacy either now that I think of it. Are they related? --Hunbody (talk) 18:31, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

I believe this fallacy would probably be an Appeal to Authority. I can elaborate on why I think this, if it's desired.--Yond cassius (talk) 15:41, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Zoo guard, I don't understand what you're getting at. Please clarify, thanks. Is it something about the four tildes? Yond cassius (talk) 23:20, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
Your sig appeared for some reason right above the page header. Don't fret, all cured now. Please indent successive comments on "talk" pages by adding one more ":" at the beginning of the entry. Scream!! (talk) 23:59, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
