Fun:RatRace

RatRace is a spinoff of Wikipedia:Wikirace where a number of rats goats participants travel from one RationalWiki page to another using only the hyperlinks present on it excluding those of templates and talk pages. And, oh, almost forgot, the first one to reach the target page gets cake.[citation NOT needed]
How to:[edit]
- Start on a random page (or just think of one off your head).
- Take a random target page. Or look at some below for a challenge ;)
- Use blue links to traverse the Wiki to get to the target page!
Rules[edit]
- Using the links on templates/portals is illegal.
- Going to talk pages and user pages is not allowed.
- For obvious reasons, you are not allowed to edit pages in your attempt.
- Disambiguation pages are allowed to be used.
- Using "Community" or "Toolbox" links (on left side of website) is also not allowed.
- Categories are also not to be used.
Optional Rules[edit]
- You may not use the “What links here” tool.
- See also links may not be used.
- The back button on browsers cannot be used, making the challenge harder.
Sample target pages[edit]
- RationalWiki (Main Page)[note 1]
- Prius rebound effect
- Simpson's paradox
- Scare story
- #NoMenMidterms
- Fun:Avatar: The Last Airbender
Very easy[edit]
Notes[edit]
- ↑ It is seemingly impossible. After all, why would any page link to the main page of the website they are hosted in? So here is a hint: Under the tools section, using “What links here” is allowed
