2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Why does this say please revert? -- Nx / talk 13:41, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

When you blank a page, this is what the edit comment says automatically. Is this the template that controls that? Scarlet A.pngmoral 13:44, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes. It's just that most of the time it's not vandalism that causes this, hence the please revert message is misleading. The default is "blanked the page" btw. -- Nx / talk 13:47, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
I think the only time blanking occurs is when people wipe their sandboxes, so with this exception it usually is vandalism that is occurring when this message is brought up. Scarlet A.pngmoral 13:50, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
