MediaWiki talk:Titleblacklist
Don't think it's quite working yet...TheoryOfPractice (talk) 01:17, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- It is. I can't create the title. Maybe it doesn't apply to sysops. Fall down
- Sysops are automatically exempt. It does work, but I don't like it. I have started a conversation in the Saloon bar. - π 01:21, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
- Surely this won't stop the Lemony stuff because they're just blanking from rotating IPs.

- True, but we won't get any more accounts or "articles" from him. - π 11:12, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and that's good. I was just checking if we're running a spam filter of any kind on article content. I'd be all for that if it were restricted to anon users only - could be particularly useful.
postate 11:36, 27 October 2009 (UTC) - It worked on me. Got the message that I had been blocked for 5 minutes. Majintahu (talk) 06:57, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Block current spambot account names?[edit]
Is it worth adding a "*\d{6}" block for new accounts? It looks like the whole wikiverse is being spammed by these people - UESP has added a prohibition against accounts ending in 6 digits, and it would be handy if we had the Titleblacklist extension at the Oblivion Mod Wiki too.
I hope this suggestion doesn't cause too much HCM. –SuspectedReplicant retire me 00:50, 8 January 2011 (UTC)
