Fun:Peter Cook
Peter Cook (17 November 1937–9 January 1995) was a British comedian who influenced legions of comedians. Through the Beyond the Fringe revue, "Not Only...", numerous television projects, and the somewhat more coarse Derek and Clive recordings, his humour ranged from the surreal and whimsical to the satirical and shocking. He also helped found and owned a large chunk of Private Eye and was active in its running until his death.
