Qur'an 21:1[edit]

Mankind’s reckoning has drawn near, but they turn away heedlessly.

Qur'an 21:1 Notes[edit]

How near is it when roughly 14 centuries have passed since Muhammad allegedly revealed this verse?

Qur'an 21:2[edit]

No fresh reminder comes to them from their Lord, but they listen to it playfully.

Qur'an 21:2 Notes[edit]

To be fair, any "reminder" from Allah sounds ridiculous. For many people, even cruel jokes like the verses in this book can get a good laugh.

Qur'an 21:3[edit]

Their hearts distracted, the wrongdoers confer secretly, “Is this anything but a mortal like you? Will you take to sorcery, with open-eyes?”

Qur'an 21:3 Notes[edit]

Muhammad is a mortal as evidenced by the simple fact that he's dead now. While not real, sorcery is a far greater explanation than a magical being who can somehow know or do literally anything.

Qur'an 21:4[edit]

He said, “My Lord knows what is said in the heaven and the earth; and He is the Hearer, the Knower.”

Qur'an 21:4 Notes[edit]

This book has him saying so many demonstrably incorrect or incoherent things.

Qur'an 21:5[edit]

And they said, “A jumble of dreams,” and, “He made it up,” and, “He is a poet,” “let him bring us a sign, like those sent to the ancients.”

Qur'an 21:5 Notes[edit]

Those are all valid things to say in response to Muhammad's ramblings.

Qur'an 21:6[edit]

None of the towns We destroyed before them had believed. Will they, then, believe?

Qur'an 21:6 Notes[edit]

Allah would first need to show clear signs that he was the one directly responsible for destroying those cities because nobody in them believed.

Qur'an 21:7[edit]

We did not send before you except men, whom We inspired. Ask the people of knowledge, if you do not know.

Qur'an 21:7 Notes[edit]

Many "people of knowledge" know Islam too well to actually believe that any of it is real.

Qur'an 21:8[edit]

We did not make them mere bodies that ate no food, nor were they immortal.

Qur'an 21:8 Notes[edit]

Why precisely did Allah choose to send regular human messengers to convey a message that frankly only convinced a minority of people?

Qur'an 21:9[edit]

Then We fulfilled Our promise to them, and We saved them together with whomever We willed, and We destroyed the extravagant.

Qur'an 21:9 Notes[edit]

Allah could have simply "willed" for nobody to suffer, and yet he will "willed" for people to get destroyed and burn in hell forever.

Qur'an 21:10[edit]

We have sent down to you a Book, containing your message. Do you not understand?

Qur'an 21:10 Notes[edit]

This book is so confusing and contradictory that Quranic scholars throughout history have disagreed over details large and small. Of course the average layperson can read this book cover-to-cover with a translation in any language and still not understand all of it.

Qur'an 21:11[edit]

How many a guilty town have We crushed, and established thereafter another people?

Qur'an 21:11 Notes[edit]

Zero, unless any evidence can point to Allah existing and being cruel enough to crush entire towns for the mere thoughtcrime of disbelief. Also, throughout this book, Allah brags about how he prevents those disbelievers from ever having the chance to believe.

Qur'an 21:12[edit]

Then, when they sensed Our might, they started running away from it.

Qur'an 21:12 Notes[edit]

Allah is too sadistic to let them get away. He wants to see them suffer eternally.

Qur'an 21:13[edit]

Do not run, but come back to your luxuries, and to your homes, that you may be questioned.

Qur'an 21:13 Notes[edit]

Allah would be a sadist if any evidence pointed to him existing as described in this book.

Qur'an 21:14[edit]

They said, “Woe to us; we were unfair.”

Qur'an 21:14 Notes[edit]

Allah is the epitome of "unfair" as described in this awful book.

Qur'an 21:15[edit]

This continued to be their cry, until We made them silent ashes.

Qur'an 21:15 Notes[edit]

Does this mean that they stopped suffering? Of course not. Allah is too sadistic to let the pain ever end.

Qur'an 21:16[edit]

We did not create the sky and the earth and what is between them for amusement.

Qur'an 21:16 Notes[edit]

Based on what you said in this book, this is true. You did not create anything, not the sky, not the earth, not a thing in between whatever that means.

Qur'an 21:17[edit]

If We wanted amusement, We could have found it within Us, were We to do so.

Qur'an 21:17 Notes[edit]

As you don't actually exist, neither does anything within you.

Qur'an 21:18[edit]

In fact, We hurl the truth against falsehood, and it crushes it, so it vanishes. Woe unto you, for what you describe.

Qur'an 21:18 Notes[edit]

Any semblance of truth does seem to vanish whenever the falsehood-laden Quran is around.

Qur'an 21:19[edit]

To Him belongs everyone in the heavens and the earth. Those near Him are not too proud to worship Him, nor do they waver.

Qur'an 21:19 Notes[edit]

This may come as a surprise to a supposedly omniscient being, but disbelievers can sincerely disbelieve. Their disbelief doesn't have to stem from pride or cowardice.

Qur'an 21:20[edit]

They praise night and day, without ever tiring.

Qur'an 21:20 Notes[edit]

Nobody can do that. Everybody gets tired eventually no matter how much they believe in Allah and love him.

Qur'an 21:21[edit]

Or have they taken to themselves gods from the earth who resurrect?

Qur'an 21:21 Notes[edit]

Allah says this as though he himself is capable of resurrecting the dead. Can he, though? People can claim that he resurrects the dead, but these baseless claims can apply equally well to any other god whom anybody has ever believed to actually exist.

Qur'an 21:22[edit]

If there were in them gods other than God, they would have gone to ruin. So glory be to God, Lord of the Throne, beyond what they allege.

Qur'an 21:22 Notes[edit]

Allah deserves no glory no matter how much he craves it like a vindictive narcissist.

Qur'an 21:23[edit]

He will not be questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.

Qur'an 21:23 Notes[edit]

Why would a supposedly omniscient being even want to question people?

Qur'an 21:24[edit]

Or have they taken, besides Him, other gods? Say, “Bring your proof. This is a message for those with me, and a message of those before me.” But most of them do not know the truth, so they turn away.

Qur'an 21:24 Notes[edit]

"Bring your proof."

How about you do that, Allah? Did Muhammad not realize that Allah never brought proof that wouldn't apply equally well to literally any other god ever?

Qur'an 21:25[edit]

We never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that: “There is no god but I, so worship Me.”

Qur'an 21:25 Notes[edit]

And yet he never sent a messenger with concrete evidence that Allah is any less fictional than any other supposed gods.

Qur'an 21:26[edit]

And they say, “The Most Merciful has taken to himself a son.” Be He glorified; they are but honored servants.

Qur'an 21:26 Notes[edit]

A supposedly omnipotent omniscient being can be "Forgiving and Merciful" while condemning most of his own creations to eternal torture. This being literally created all of humanity and chooses a minute handful among them to communicate with the rest. Is the notion of this god having a son really so far-fetched given mountains of absurd claims already?

Qur'an 21:27[edit]

They never speak before He has spoken, and they only act on His command.

Qur'an 21:27 Notes[edit]

Source: the prophets themselves, conveniently the only ones who can hear anything close to direct communication from this supposed deity

Qur'an 21:28[edit]

He knows what is before them, and what is behind them; and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves; and they tremble in awe of Him.

Qur'an 21:28 Notes[edit]

Why does this book not portray him as knowing anything about anyone in that case?

Qur'an 21:29[edit]

And whoever of them says, “I am a god besides Him,” We will reward him with Hell. Thus We reward the wrongdoers.

Qur'an 21:29 Notes[edit]

What about those who claim to essentially be Allah's chosen mouthpiece on earth and use such baseless claims to demand total obedience from their followers?

Qur'an 21:30[edit]

Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were one mass, and We tore them apart? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not believe?

Qur'an 21:30 Notes[edit]

So many biologists, geologists, and cosmologists seem to have missed this memo.

Qur'an 21:31[edit]

And We placed on earth stabilizers, lest it sways with them, and We placed therein signposts and passages, that they may be guided.

Qur'an 21:31 Notes[edit]

Allah still made a planet prone to earthquakes where people often get totally lost.

Qur'an 21:32[edit]

And We made the sky a protected ceiling; yet they turn away from its wonders.

Qur'an 21:32 Notes[edit]

This implies that the sky is actually a firmament.

Qur'an 21:33[edit]

It is He who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit.

Qur'an 21:33 Notes[edit]

Night and day aren't distinct entities that exist on their own. Allah would know that if he understood his own supposed creations.

Qur'an 21:34[edit]

We did not grant immortality to any human being before you. Should you die, are they then the immortal?

Qur'an 21:34 Notes[edit]

Is immortality even demonstrably possible?

Qur'an 21:35[edit]

Every soul will taste death. We burden you with adversity and prosperity—a test. And to Us you will be returned.

Qur'an 21:35 Notes[edit]

What exactly is a "soul" in the first place? Can anybody prove that such a thing even exists?

Qur'an 21:36[edit]

When those who disbelieve see you, they treat you only with ridicule: “Is this the one who mentions your gods?” And they reject the mention of the Merciful.

Qur'an 21:36 Notes[edit]

Allah's utter lack of mercy is a reason why this book's insistence on calling him "Merciful" is ridiculous.

Qur'an 21:37[edit]

The human being was created of haste. I will show you My signs, so do not seek to rush Me.

Qur'an 21:37 Notes[edit]

Over 14 centuries after this verse was supposedly revealed to Muhammad, no real signs point clearly to Allah over any gods or even a god-free world.

Qur'an 21:38[edit]

And they say, “When will this promise come true, if you are truthful?”

Qur'an 21:38 Notes[edit]

This is a valid question. Allah, of course, only has copouts and clearly wrong answers.

Qur'an 21:39[edit]

If those who disbelieve only knew, when they cannot keep the fire off their faces and off their backs, and they will not be helped.

Qur'an 21:39 Notes[edit]

What a horrible excuse for a supposedly "Merciful" deity...

Qur'an 21:40[edit]

In fact, it will come upon them suddenly, and bewilder them. They will not be able to repel it, and they will not be reprieved.

Qur'an 21:40 Notes[edit]

Allah loves stuffing this book with utter sadism.

Qur'an 21:41[edit]

Messengers before you were also ridiculed, but those who jeered were surrounded by what they had ridiculed.

Qur'an 21:41 Notes[edit]

The first part of this verse makes sense at least.

Qur'an 21:42[edit]

Say, “Who guards you against the Merciful by night and by day?” But they turn away from the mention of their Lord.

Qur'an 21:42 Notes[edit]

Why does anybody need to guard people "against the Merciful" if Allah was truly a god of mercy?

Qur'an 21:43[edit]

Or do they have gods who can defend them against Us? They cannot help themselves, nor will they be protected from Us.

Qur'an 21:43 Notes[edit]

Allah isn't even real enough to threaten anybody after death.

Qur'an 21:44[edit]

We have given these enjoyments, and their ancestors, until time grew long upon them. Do they not see how We gradually reduce the land from its extremities? Are they then the victors?

Qur'an 21:44 Notes[edit]

While people can observe that things happen, how can anybody tell that Allah specifically caused any of it?

Qur'an 21:45[edit]

Say, “I am warning you through inspiration.” But the deaf cannot hear the call when they are being warned.

Qur'an 21:45 Notes[edit]

Allah brags about creating people deaf and deliberately keeping the truth away from them.

Qur'an 21:46[edit]

And when a breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they say, “Woe to us, we were truly wicked.”

Qur'an 21:46 Notes[edit]

Allah brags about creating people in such a wicked state that they will inevitably suffer eternally.

Qur'an 21:47[edit]

We will set up the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so that no soul will suffer the least injustice. And even if it be the weight of a mustard-seed, We will bring it up. Sufficient are We as Reckoners.

Qur'an 21:47 Notes[edit]

Allah is the spitting image of "injustice" and in no position to decry it.

Qur'an 21:48[edit]

We gave Moses and Aaron the Criterion, and illumination, and a reminder for the righteous.

Qur'an 21:48 Notes[edit]

Allah loves his reminders to be sure.

Qur'an 21:49[edit]

Those who fear their Lord in private, and are apprehensive of the Hour.

Qur'an 21:49 Notes[edit]

Allah loves reminding people that he is a monster worth fearing.

Qur'an 21:50[edit]

This too is a blessed message that We revealed. Are you going to deny it?

Qur'an 21:50 Notes[edit]

Yes, so long as the evidence for it keeps failing to even exist.

Qur'an 21:51[edit]

We gave Abraham his integrity formerly, and We knew him well.

Qur'an 21:51 Notes[edit]

Allah supposedly knows everybody well and has no reason to be so redundant about this fact.

Qur'an 21:52[edit]

When he said to his father and his people, “What are these statues to which you are devoted?”

Qur'an 21:52 Notes[edit]

They are objects more demonstrably real than your god, Abe.

Qur'an 21:53[edit]

They said, “We found our parents worshiping them.”

Qur'an 21:53 Notes[edit]

Many Muslims similarly only believe in Allah because they found their parents and grandparents believing.

Qur'an 21:54[edit]

He said, “You and your parents are in evident error.”

Qur'an 21:54 Notes[edit]

Many people say the same thing about theists.

Qur'an 21:55[edit]

They said, “Are you telling us the truth, or are you just playing?”

Qur'an 21:55 Notes[edit]

Why are these the only options mentioned?

Qur'an 21:56[edit]

He said, “Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the One who created them, and I bear witness to that.

Qur'an 21:56 Notes[edit]

Abraham witnessed Allah create anything? Abraham actually saw Allah create anything at all?

Qur'an 21:57[edit]

“By God, I will have a plan for your statues after you have gone away.”

Qur'an 21:57 Notes[edit]

Abraham plans on destroying religious objects as if this could make him look reasonable at all.

Qur'an 21:58[edit]

So he reduced them into pieces, except for their biggest, that they may return to it.

Qur'an 21:58 Notes[edit]

This story frames him in a positive light for destroying other people's objects of worship, but it's okay because only the one true religion deserves respect of whatever.

Qur'an 21:59[edit]

They said, “Who did this to our gods? He is certainly one of the wrongdoers.”

Qur'an 21:59 Notes[edit]

Yes. This guy is doing something very wrong.

Qur'an 21:60[edit]

They said, “We heard a youth mentioning them. He is called Abraham.”

Qur'an 21:60 Notes[edit]

Abraham literally announced his plan to destroy the idols ahead of time.

Qur'an 21:61[edit]

They said, “Bring him before the eyes of the people, so that they may witness.”

Qur'an 21:61 Notes[edit]

Abraham should indeed face consequences for his actions.

Qur'an 21:62[edit]

They said, “Are you the one who did this to our gods, O Abraham?”

Qur'an 21:62 Notes[edit]

Abraham literally announced his plan to destroy the idols ahead of time.

Qur'an 21:63[edit]

He said, “But it was this biggest of them that did it. Ask them, if they can speak.”

Qur'an 21:63 Notes[edit]

This verse implies that the other gods weren't real as they never spoke. but can Allah speak? Many people claim to speak on Allah's behalf, some of them sincerely believing it too. Muhammad notably didn't even claim to hear Allah directly but instead just get messages from Gabriel as a middleman angel.

Qur'an 21:64[edit]

Then they turned to one another, and said, “You yourselves are the wrongdoers.”

Qur'an 21:64 Notes[edit]

They really reacted in that way?

Qur'an 21:65[edit]

But they reverted to their old ideas: “You certainly know that these do not speak.”

Qur'an 21:65 Notes[edit]

Allah doesn't speak either, and yet billions of people believe in a god without ever hearing his voice directly.

Qur'an 21:66[edit]

He said, “Do you worship, instead of God, what can neither benefit you in anything, nor harm you?

Qur'an 21:66 Notes[edit]

Allah has yet to prove that he can ever "benefit" or "harm" anybody.

Qur'an 21:67[edit]

Fie on you, and on what you worship instead of God. Do you not understand?”

Qur'an 21:67 Notes[edit]

They clearly don't, and neither do the people who fail to see any signs that point to Allah being any more real than them.

Qur'an 21:68[edit]

They said, “Burn him and support your gods, if you are going to act.”

Qur'an 21:68 Notes[edit]

This story paints them as evil for punishing a man who attacked their religion. This has totally never happened at the hands of Muslims whatsoever.

Qur'an 21:69[edit]

We said, “O fire, be coolness and safety upon Abraham.”

Qur'an 21:69 Notes[edit]

This verse's number in the chapter is definitely cool.

Qur'an 21:70[edit]

They planned to harm him, but We made them the worst losers.

Qur'an 21:70 Notes[edit]

Abraham attacked their religion and pushed his own despite a lack of evidence. They are in the wrong for wanting him dead, though.

Qur'an 21:71[edit]

And We delivered him, and Lot, to the land that We blessed for all people.

Qur'an 21:71 Notes[edit]

Is this getting at the homophobia fairytale.

Qur'an 21:72[edit]

And We granted him Isaac and Jacob as a gift; and each We made righteous.

Qur'an 21:72 Notes[edit]

Children are not just gifts.

Qur'an 21:73[edit]

And We made them leaders, guiding by Our command; and We inspired them to do good works, and to observe the prayer, and to give out charity. They were devoted servant to Us.

Qur'an 21:73 Notes[edit]

Charity is the only good thing mentioned in verse.

Qur'an 21:74[edit]

And Lot—We gave him judgment and knowledge, and We delivered him from the town that practiced the abominations. They were wicked and perverted people.

Qur'an 21:74 Notes[edit]

Allah is perfectly cool with child brides and sex slaves. Is that not "wicked and perverted" behavior?

Qur'an 21:75[edit]

And We admitted him into Our mercy; for He was one of the righteous.

Qur'an 21:75 Notes[edit]

Allah's "mercy" shouldn't be limited to those whom he likes. He constantly calls himself "the Most Merciful" while refusing to actually make this claim remotely true.

Qur'an 21:76[edit]

And Noah, when he called before. So We answered him, and delivered him and his family from the great disaster.

Qur'an 21:76 Notes[edit]

Allah caused this great disaster in the first place, but genocide is apparently okay when he does it.

Qur'an 21:77[edit]

And We supported him against the people who rejected Our signs. They were an evil people, so We drowned them all.

Qur'an 21:77 Notes[edit]

Allah's infinite sadism is just tiresome.

Qur'an 21:78[edit]

And David and Solomon, when they gave judgment in the case of the field, when some people’s sheep wandered therein by night; and We were witnesses to their judgment.

Qur'an 21:78 Notes[edit]

The sheep definitely said more coherent things than this book.

Qur'an 21:79[edit]

And so We made Solomon understand it, and to each We gave wisdom and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains along with David to sing Our praises, and the birds as well—surely We did.

Qur'an 21:79 Notes[edit]

Dr. Dolittle can understand literal sheep, birds, and mountains too.

Qur'an 21:80[edit]

And We taught him the making of shields for you, to protect you from your violence. Are you, then, appreciative?

Qur'an 21:80 Notes[edit]

Allah suddenly cares about protecting people from violence?

Qur'an 21:81[edit]

And to Solomon the stormy wind, blowing at His command towards the land that We have blessed. We are aware of everything.

Qur'an 21:81 Notes[edit]

Solomon controlled literal storms too?

Qur'an 21:82[edit]

And of the devils were some that dived for him, and performed other, lesser tasks. But We kept them restrained.

Qur'an 21:82 Notes[edit]

At the very least, storms have been observed to ever exist.

Qur'an 21:83[edit]

And Job, when he cried out to his Lord: “Great harm has afflicted me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful.”

Qur'an 21:83 Notes[edit]

Job said this to an allegedly omnipotent omniscient god who could easily have created a world with no suffering at all.

Qur'an 21:84[edit]

So We answered him, lifted his suffering, and restored his family to him, and their like with them—a mercy from Us, and a reminder for the worshipers.

Qur'an 21:84 Notes[edit]

Allah could have made this suffering simply never even happen. This should be literally effortless for "the Most Merciful of the merciful", after all.

Qur'an 21:85[edit]

And Ishmael, and Enoch, and Ezekiel; each was one of the steadfast.

Qur'an 21:85 Notes[edit]

None of them get any details beyond name drops in this chapter.

Qur'an 21:86[edit]

And We admitted them into Our mercy. They were among the righteous.

Qur'an 21:86 Notes[edit]

Allah needs to keep announcing that he himself needs to admit people into his "mercy" as though "the Most Merciful of the merciful" would not already have everybody in his mercy always.

Qur'an 21:87[edit]

And Jonah, when he stormed out in fury, thinking We had no power over him. But then He cried out in the darkness, “There is no god but You! Glory to You! I was one of the wrongdoers!”

Qur'an 21:87 Notes[edit]

Allah admits that even a prophet doubted his power, though this same guy would magically shed any and all doubt somehow.

Qur'an 21:88[edit]

So We answered him, and saved him from the affliction. Thus We save the faithful.

Qur'an 21:88 Notes[edit]

Does Allah think that we all have attention spans like goldfish? We don't need constant reminders that Allah saves those who are specifically gullible enough to believe certain claims about him without evidence.

Qur'an 21:89[edit]

And Zechariah, when he called out to his Lord, “My Lord, do not leave me alone, even though you are the Best of heirs.”

Qur'an 21:89 Notes[edit]

So many believers beg for Allah to not leave them alone as they go through a crisis of faith with tears rolling down their faces. Allah knows that these are people who believe in him and want to keep believing. The god described in this book would love those who beg on their knees to him.

Qur'an 21:90[edit]

So We answered him, and gave him John. And We cured his wife for him. They used to vie in doing righteous deeds, and used to call on Us in love and awe, and they used to humble themselves to Us.

Qur'an 21:90 Notes[edit]

Notably, the woman in this story doesn't get a name because Allah is sexist.

Qur'an 21:91[edit]

And she who guarded her virginity. We breathed into her of Our spirit, and made her and her son a sign to the world.

Qur'an 21:91 Notes[edit]

Is this verse also talking about Zechariah's wife?

Qur'an 21:92[edit]

This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.

Qur'an 21:92 Notes[edit]

Make yourself evident to the entire community and not just a single questionable guy and his followers.

Qur'an 21:93[edit]

But they splintered themselves into factions. They will all return to Us.

Qur'an 21:93 Notes[edit]

Is splitting into various factions suddenly a crime now? Considering the often fierce disagreements between Sunni and Shia Muslims (to say nothing of those Muslims who are neither Sunni nor Shia), will Muslims as a whole be punished for disagreeing on key issues that Allah refused to make clear?

Qur'an 21:94[edit]

Whoever does righteous deeds, and is a believer, his effort will not be denied. We are writing it down for him.

Qur'an 21:94 Notes[edit]

Allah could at least be clear about what counts as "righteous deeds" in the first place. This lack of clarity is a major reason why Muslims "splintered themselves into factions" whether intentionally or otherwise.

Qur'an 21:95[edit]

There is a ban on the town that We had destroyed—that they will not return.

Qur'an 21:95 Notes[edit]

Of all towns to ever exist, which one specifically has the ban? Allah, can you get any vaguer?

Qur'an 21:96[edit]

Until, when Gog and Magog are let loose, and they swarm down from every mound.

Qur'an 21:96 Notes[edit]

Allah could at least be clear as to who or where Gog and Magog even are.

Qur'an 21:97[edit]

The promise of truth has drawn near. The eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in horror: “Woe to us. We were oblivious to this. In fact, we were wrongdoers.”

Qur'an 21:97 Notes[edit]

How near exactly? This verse was supposedly revealed over 14 centuries ago.

Qur'an 21:98[edit]

You and what you worship besides God are fuel for Hell. You will descend into it.

Qur'an 21:98 Notes[edit]

Allah doesn't need to remind everybody that he's a vindictive, insecure despot.

Qur'an 21:99[edit]

Had these been gods, they would not have descended into it. All will abide in it.

Qur'an 21:99 Notes[edit]

Allah seriously talks like an egomaniac, which would not be necessary if he had any truth with him.

Qur'an 21:100[edit]

In it they will wail. In it they will not hear.

Qur'an 21:100 Notes[edit]

This is exactly what "the Most Merciful of the merciful" would do to the vast majority of humans who have existed and will exist.

Qur'an 21:101[edit]

As for those who deserved goodness from Us—these will be kept away from it.

Qur'an 21:101 Notes[edit]

Allah could make a moral system where everybody deserves the best of goodness itself. He repeatedly asserts his omnipotence and omniscience, after all.

Qur'an 21:102[edit]

They will not hear its hissing, and they will forever abide in what their hearts desire.

Qur'an 21:102 Notes[edit]

Would anybody in this mythical Paradise ever desire to see an end to the infinite torture that is Hell? Allah states in other chapters that the good people up there will watch everybody else suffering in Hell and thus constantly see a reminder of everlasting agony.

Qur'an 21:103[edit]

The Supreme Fear will not worry them, and the angels will receive them: “This is your Day which you were promised.”

Qur'an 21:103 Notes[edit]

Why exactly would "the Most Merciful of the merciful" even allow such "Supreme Fear" to ever exist?

Qur'an 21:104[edit]

On the Day when We fold the heaven, like the folding of a book. Just as We began the first creation, We will repeat it—a promise binding on Us. We will act.

Qur'an 21:104 Notes[edit]

Is the "heaven" actually solid to be folded like a book? Allah should know what this world looks like if he claimed to to create it.

Qur'an 21:105[edit]

We have written in the Psalms, after the Reminder, that the earth will be inherited by My righteous servants.

Qur'an 21:105 Notes[edit]

No matter how many books and scrolls contain things that Allah "wrote", these things need evidence to be remotely credible.

Qur'an 21:106[edit]

Indeed, in this is a message for people who worship.

Qur'an 21:106 Notes[edit]

It's not a very clear or coherent message though.

Qur'an 21:107[edit]

We did not send you except as mercy to mankind.

Qur'an 21:107 Notes[edit]

Allah should stop using the word "mercy" so much when he clearly has no interest in its actual meaning.

Qur'an 21:108[edit]

Say, “It is revealed to me that your God is One God. Are you going to submit?”

Qur'an 21:108 Notes[edit]

No, not without proper evidence.

Qur'an 21:109[edit]

But if they turn away, say, “I have informed you sufficiently. Although I do not know whether what you are promised is near or far.”

Qur'an 21:109 Notes[edit]

You clearly didn't if they turn away.

Qur'an 21:110[edit]

He knows what is said openly, and He knows what you conceal.

Qur'an 21:110 Notes[edit]

Allah doesn't act like he knows. This book has him constantly misrepresenting those who disbelieve.

Qur'an 21:111[edit]

“And I do not know whether it is perhaps a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while.”

Qur'an 21:111 Notes[edit]

Frankly, neither you nor your imaginary skydaddy know anything about this entirely fictional scenario.

Qur'an 21:112[edit]

He said, “My Lord, judge with justice.” And, “Our Lord is the Gracious, Whose help is sought against what you allege.”

Qur'an 21:112 Notes[edit]

Allah has already demonstrated that he cares not for "justice" in the slightest.
