The goal of the infographic project is to make high quality infographics related to the site mission that can be easily edited.

What is an infographic?[edit]

An infographic is a image that uses images in part to represent information.

Guidelines[edit]

  1. The infographic should support an overall theme and not be just an image to support an article.
  2. The text and images should support each other and should not overemphasize one over the other. Good infographics will have a high information density in their images. The images should be as simple as possible and accurately portray the information.
  3. Scalable vector graphic (SVG) images are preferred. This allows for others to edit the images (in, for example, Inkscape and Gimp) and to flawlessly resize them.
  4. Branding with the RationalWiki logo or with the words "A RationalWiki Infographic" is encouraged.
  5. The image should be in the Infographics category
  6. The image have a license that allows editing and re-use.
