| There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity. If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2019. |

RationalWiki talk:2015 board of trustees election/Nominations
One thing[edit]
Be a registered user for 1 year or longer on RationalWiki (Registered by January 26, 2015) -- should that be January 26, 2014? --MtDNotorious Sodomite 03:31, 13 January 2015 (UTC)
Meetings[edit]
It would appear I have been nominated. One quick question before I decide to decline or accept. Quarterly meetings are mentioned. Do these require travel, or even a webcam? - Smerdis of Tlön, A ⇒ ¬A. 04:03, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
- It's been done by Skype and Google hangout, with and without a webcam. It will depend on who's there, I suppose. No one has travelled for a formal meeting. Sterile (talk) 04:14, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Information[edit]
This website is hard to find but information on the current board can be found here. A guide for board nominees is here.
It would be interesting to see a summary of what the current board has accomplished. Tielec01 (talk) 05:16, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
- We've kept donations coming and dealt with legal matters. Sterile (talk) 09:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Number of candidates[edit]
There are currently five candidates for five places, assuming Tielec accepts. Does it matter if there are fewer than that? What's the legal minimum of board members? Bicyclewheel
