Interesting... why did you link the word "jump" all down the line instead of the phrases, by the way? Seems counterintuitive. Not that I would want to edit every line to change it... though I suppose arachnophilia could automate the process. humanUser talk:Human 20:35, 2 March 2008 (EST)

HA - i STARTED OUT WITH THE LITTLE UP ARROW PICTURE (damn caps lock!) of the WIGO poll but of course it links to the image :-( so I just did a search & replace.

If you link the phrase then it sorts by the wikilink (if that's what you meant)

i.e.

*[[RationalWiki:Help/New_Article]], would sort to 'R'

If you mean

[[RationalWiki:Help/New_Article|New Article]]

I just thought it added unnecessary verbiage & some of the pages have non-intuitive names. ( I just saved : |Thumb3.GIF ]] & replace/pasted it in MSword - took about 2 seconds as did replacing it with 'jump'

Hmmm, ok. I missed the "sort" tag and just thought they were all hard-wired. I had first thought the whole thing was dpl (or some such) generated. Why not just manually sort them? And the link is the title, but the "text" can be the keyword, right? I have no idea what you mean by "unnecessary verbiage"? humanUser talk:Human 20:53, 2 March 2008 (EST)
I wanted to play with use the sort tag* - alright? I thought of replacing the 'jump' with ? (unnecessary verbiage : you'd have the 'keyword' twice on the line. My wireless mouse is running out of lectrickery - gotta put it on charge :-( Susanpurrrrr 21:01, 2 March 2008 (EST)

* I asked for it to be imported & feel guilty for not using it. Susanpurrrrr

I've replaced the 'jump' with , betterer?Susanpurrrrr
Use 'sort' because it means anyone can add another without bothering about alphabetic order? Susanpurrrrr 12:32, 3 March 2008 (EST)
And you can write things like: "template, side by side article" and "side by side article template" without bothering about ordering. Susanpurrrrr 13:59, 3 March 2008 (EST)

Yeah, I suppose. It makes it one step harder to fix typos though, since you have to search for the typo. Oh, and why does "articles needing expansion" link to RationalWiki:Project Whitewash/What is a RationalWiki article? Isn't there a category it should link to? humanUser talk:Human 14:26, 3 March 2008 (EST)

It goes to a page that explains it - it's not a directory. (I'm out & on PDA on battery - about 1 hour life!) Susanpurrrrr 14:40, 3 March 2008 (EST)

bold entries[edit]

Why are some bolded? Shouldn't that be explained at the top? humanUser talk:Human 19:49, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

It's quitwe common to BOLD the main entry on such lists. Isn't it. Susanpurrrrr 20:01, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

That made no sense whatsoever, Susan. In this alphabetical list there is no structure, so there are no "main entries". Can't you put a sentence at the beginning explaining why some are bolded? What was the criterion? Thanks... humanUser talk:Human 20:37, 11 March 2008 (EDT)

abc's[edit]

This sorely needs alpha headings and a few TOC bars (like dyslexicon). Which means it will need to actually be alphabetized (easy) and have the headers pasted in. That will also make it approximately 100 times easier to work on. humanUser talk:Human 20:40, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
