RationalWiki talk:Projects

Shouldn't the discussion be here on the talk page and the main article just lists our (ahem) "projects" and their scope, with links to their "project pages"? ħuman 19:52, 11 February 2009 (EST)
- The point of creating this page was so that project ideas could be discussed before making individual project pages out of them, since some of them probably aren't going to be worth making a page out of (e.g. if they're only one person's project, or if the mob thinks they're a bad idea). - Sure, but that's "talk". The "project page" (I think, anyway) should be the "result" - a list of the projects. Doesn't that make sense? ħuman

- Shrug. Whatever. ΨΣΔξΣΓΩΙÐ

- I'll do the grunt work of copying the talk over here under appropriate headers - if you really do agree that's how we should organize this. The result would be that the page itself becomes a portal to our projects, and here we discuss things like, as you said, priority and stuff. ħuman

- I'm not convinced that it would be more useful that way round, but I don't really mind it if other people are happy for that to happen. Let's wait for some other guys' opinions. ΨΣΔξΣΓΩΙÐ

- I think what you mean is that the article page lists the projects that are proposed, a general outline of what they'd involve and a list of the proposing editors and people who want to "sign up". The talk page can then discuss them, their merits or people can put more detail into the proposals. Sounds good to me. ArmondikoVtheist 14:13, 12 February 2009 (EST)
