Nathan Larson and New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist Movement[edit]
We definitely have articles on those two topics now, so we can take those off the to-do list. I don't know what we'd actually do though. I was under the impression that if there's something in the to-do archives that already has an article and has been that way for a long time, we just comment it out. That was what I was told to do the last time this happened, but other contributors have done it differently, so now I'm not so sure. DietMondrian (talk) 21:55, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
- @DietMondrian—I don't think it's a huge deal whether you comment out or delete completed topics from the to-do list archives, since MediaWiki keeps a record of the change either way. IIRC the reason to comment out completed topics rather than deleting them was just that... that was what the instructions said to do back when I reorganized the archives? (My approach with that project was to make the ostensible existing process clearer, not actually change it in any meaningful way.)
- I mean last time I got a notification about somebody removing rather than commenting out a completed to-do, I just went in and re-added the commented-out list item? For whatever reason I guess I have email alerts set up for these archive pages (and nothing else lol), so it's easy enough for me to do unnecessarily neurotic tidying...
