Ah, I see what went wrong. Not pagename exactly, but the dpl looks for "titlematch={{PAGENAME}}/0%" - we're screwed (I think) when we start archiving month 1001... ħuman 01:23, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. --Sid 01:33, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- I think we could just ditch the "0", "1", etc. - that was to "block" some non-archive subpages at wigoCP, I think? ħuman 01:35, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, it was meant to filter the results, and yes, right now, you could simply use "titlematch={{PAGENAME}}/%" and get the same results. I'm for keeping the current filter, though, just in case. It doesn't break anything (until 2020), and if someone adds a subpage (for instructions or stuff like that), it won't cause confusion by showing up in the Archive list. --Sid 01:42, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
And before the inevitable Fridge Logic question comes up: The talkpage archive links template is ready for any year because it simply lists all pages with a certain prefix (like "archive"), regardless of any number. --Sid 01:46, 1 May 2009 (UTC)- I just out-Fridge'd myself since the talk page archives usually don't use year numbers, anyway. You can tell it's almost 4am here, can't you? XD --Sid 01:47, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yup :). Anyway, the # thing is used at wigoCP because of historical contingency - we/someone made subpages that aren't archives. I'd prefer that the others ran simply - the only subpages will be archives, I doubt any others will ever be made. Anyway, yeah, we're in the clear for 11 years ;) and the talk pages should steer our descendants in the right direction. Hell, can you imagine if we were both still editing here in ten years? That's almost scary, but sorta cool, too. ħuman 03:51, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
