Fundamentalist[edit]
I don't think he was a fundamentalist as the article claims. Yes, he was a reactionary Catholic sectarian, but he was not a pushover to the Church. He used religion as a tool. It was state > church, not the other way around. See:Concordat of 1940 for example.
