What has this got to do with the price of fish? WeaseloidWeaselly.jpgMethinks it is a Weasel 18:46, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

You know how we have a category on Economics right? Well, the article on Capital was a bit muddled on what you would call capital and what you would call an Asset, so I corrected that and added this. If this is off mission, then so will several other articles on Economics. What I was hoping to get around to were articles on things like capital adequacy, liquidity, risk and so on that go to the heart of the current recession, but for which you need a clear definition on things like capital and assets, etc. Bondurant (talk) 20:29, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
But we're not Wiktionary. If this article, or the capital one, said anything relating to the missions, or even the current recession, I might see some value in them. As it is, they're just basic definitions of terms which most readers probably understand anyway. It would be better to start by writing your stuff that goes to the heart of the current recession, & then move on to the economic background if its necessary & relevant, rather than starting by defining a lot of economic terms before writing anything topical. Perhaps redirect this to capital, and use the text to create a footnote explaining what assets are. Totnesmartin (talk) 22:52, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
ahh, fuck it, I'll just do it anyway. Totnesmartin (talk) 23:00, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
