2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Ugh[edit]

There has got to be a better title than this. Nobodydon't bother 15:05, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

blessings and curses? How about just blessing, with a subsection on curses, or a separate article for each? After checking a thesaurus, the word invocation might cover both, but I'm unsure--"Shut up, Brx." 15:14, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
If were me, I would move this to blessing, merge curse into here as a negative blessing, and delete this page. sterilesporadic heavy hitter 15:48, 4 January 2013 (UTC)
The were originally separate pages, b & c, but they are basically the same thing. More people know what a curse is, i think, than a blessing, but the more normative term is "blessing". so i put both. "invocation" is slightly different, though it can cover prayers and spells. --Green mowse.pngGodot She was a venus demilo in her sister's jeans 16:54, 4 January 2013 (UTC)

This is just embarrassing[edit]

Really. And I am unsurprised at who's the principle author. There's also a Curse article and a stale merge discussion dating back to 2012 at RationalWiki:Duplicate articles.--ZooGuard (talk) 20:38, 25 May 2014 (UTC)

Delete perhaps? Aldon (talk) 20:48, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
Yes. I will even delete all the relevant links into this. Father Vivian O'Blivion (talk) 20:56, 25 May 2014 (UTC)
