Talk:Christian Broadcasting Network
Did you write the wikipedia article on this? Because it's word for word the same in the beginning. ThunderkatzHo! 09:24, 20 July 2007 (CDT) And the rest is copied word for word from the CBN site. ThunderkatzHo! 09:27, 20 July 2007 (CDT)~
Very true:) I wanted a base for which to edit and point out the issues of CBN and Pat.--TimS 09:32, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
- I just hope that you plan on changing most of it eventually. Maybe you should, for now, put a disclaimer at the top, that the current text is a spring board. Same goes for the Pat Robertson page. ThunderkatzHo!
- Not a bad idea but not really needed for Wikipedia content due to the GNU License. The CBN copy is also a public domain press release, as a not-for-profit organization. It really made my skin crawl to even post the material here. The issue is that Pat and his hate mongering and lack of reasoning are spread to several million people daily. I feel we should do an op-ed on such a figure who pushes the bill as a leader of intolerence.--TimS 09:43, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
CBN Discussion Board
It reads like blogs4brownback. Take a look at the Harry Potter board.--TimS 09:32, 20 July 2007 (CDT)
I just noticed a trend over the past year on their Discussion Board, any time the posters on the board provide a majority view contrary to CBN's view they move the board or take it off line. Is this a common practice of conservatives and fundies? TK does it to talk pages, CBN does it to their boards and Behe trys to do it to his amazon page.-- I am the AlphaTimSand the Omega!. 11:30, 23 October 2007 (EDT)
Premier Radio in the UK is (apparently) a christian radio station. I can't offer any critique of it because vomit rises in my throat when I inadvertently hit it and their smarmy voices reach my ears.
