Funny Story[edit]

About to have this test in science class and I feel a sneeze coming up. I get my hands together, ready to cover my nose and mouth, and let out a sneeze. Well, to my teacher, it looked like I was prayer. XD ...your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. (talk) 03:31, 26 December 2012 (UTC)

Duplicate?[edit]

Isn't this almost the same as school prayer or what? --AP 01:40, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

Yeah, except that one is a lot lamer. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:55, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
Merge? - User 01:43, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
Sure, bring over whatever useful content it has and make it a redirect. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:55, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
Actually, it was mostly a reactionary anti-CP screed with little content except whining about "fundies", so I just made it into a redirect. Feel free to dig back (last version before my overwrite) to see if I obliterated any gems we should save. ħumanUser talk:Human 01:59, 10 March 2009 (EDT)

what was wrong with the humor[edit]

...nothing at all--i didn't realise (reading in the edit view where things can look jumbled) that that bit appeared in a footnote--reading it as though it were in the body of the sentence came off a really stiff and clunky..My bad...Amin7b5 19:31, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Jesus said[edit]

"6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
