Being as concerned about mortality as any human, can you please provide more detail on why energy can't be conscious? Thanks in advance. Unknown (talk) 09:16, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Because energy isn't a thing, it's a measure of work done? Sophiebecause liberals 10:25, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
The page doesn't say energy can't be conscious, it says consciousness isn't energy. Various sci-fi authors have played with the concept of conscious energy: from Douglas Adams' Hooloovoo (superintelligent shades of the colour blue) in HHGTTG through to Arthur C Clarke's monolith builders' final state in 2001. That's very different from the sort of new age bullshytt the article is discussing, though. TerrenceKoeckring (talk) 10:50, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Added references[edit]

I added some references. Are they any good? Are they enough? If they are enough, can we take down the "references needed" template? Also added a section about work and it's connection to energy. I'd love some feedback. — Unsigned, by: SuperDude / talk / contribs 20:36, 7 March 2015‎ (UTC)
