Isaac Asimov[edit]

Came up with the 'unionised' example - un-ionised or union-ised.

There is also 'British understatement' and similar (where the meaning is the exact opposite of, or different to what is said), and a certain number of court cases revolve around 'words said' and 'words written' having different meanings. Do these fall within this fallacy? 86.134.53.74 (talk) 12:13, 30 May 2017 (UTC)
