Depends on what you mean by "rewrite". If you want to do a total rewrite, I'd say do it in a user space and have users compare. But otherwise, what I tend to do is add/edit a para or 2 at a time, save. then do some more. give people time to read and comment on your edits. I think "rewrite" was the wrong word. I incorrectly thought that no article on the subject had been written here and went full tilt researching and footnoting a nice, fledgleing piece and lo! someone had already written a succinct well researched and cited article. Same thing happened with relics but i hadn't gone and written it. sorry. really new (virginal in fact) to wikis.I will not rewrite this article, but i may add anectodes and facts i gathered.
