Um, Eugene, there are about 150 random things and derogatory terms that redirect to Andrew Schlafly, orchestrated by several users for a long time. If you'd like to remove all of those things then perhaps you should take it up in a site-wide discussion. Lyra § talk 02:45, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

  • Maybe we should do that then. First off, Conservapedia snark is old meme because CP itself is old meme. Second, it's one thing to put a joke link in an article, but something entirely different to have a misleading redirect. With the former, the user can see where the link actually goes in the link bar of the browser and have a *snerk* or two. Moving it one layer back to a redirect is something different -- it damages usability of the site and winds up leaving the user somewhere that doesn't answer his/her question. I'm as big an advocate as anyone here of bringing teh lulz, but not at the expense of providing good information. EVDebs 02:52, 2 June 2008 (EDT)
