There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff — we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. Talk:National Center for Science Education
The NCSE is pretty much entirely based around evolution/creationism - you can tell this by just reading its releases via Facebook. Yet it goes by the name "National Center for Science Education". If it was a creationist organisation doing the same thing under the title "National Center for Science Education" we'd be rightfully livid, much in the same way that the AAPS is a crackpot organisation going under a pleasant sounding title. Yet why do we let the NCSE get away with using a pleasant and generic title when it is so clearly focuses entirely on creationism. They're not wrong, of course, but the title is still quite misleading. sshole 18:41, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
