RationalWiki's 2019 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff – we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone who saw this today donated $5, we would meet our goal for 2019.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Talk:Ragnarok

Um...the whole world is supposed to be destroyed by fire and winter during Ragnarok. Doesn't that mean then that it's an eschatology of the Earth as well? Researcher 08:46, 27 November 2008 (EST)

It's a fucking stub Eddy, maybe when it grows up you can defend it as a non-satirical article. Xena 09:34, 4 April 2009 (EDT)

Besides, we are supposed to have snarky, satiric articles here. Mjollnir.svgListenerXTalkerX 18:31, 4 April 2009 (EDT)
At a certain point articles end up on the "Best of RationalWiki" list and us snarky boojums have to find other things to do. Xena 18:36, 4 April 2009 (EDT)

Connection to the Book of Revelations?[edit]

Are there any sources on Ragnarok that are older than the 2 eddas? Could it be influenced by christian myths? Reub2000 (talk) 01:43, 24 December 2012 (UTC)

The END was terrible[edit]

Last night the Wolf Fenrir ate the moon and lots of other stuff, the Frost giants rampaged and it was a great battle. The Fates wove like mad and the cycle started again. This morning everything seemed the same. Isnt circularity nice. Hamster (talk) 21:14, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
