What is the effective damage potential of an actual silver bullet?
A character in a SF/werewolf story I read suggested that 'ordinary bullets' were effective against werewolves - but the persons using them would not necessarily be good shots, while 'a good shot' would be hired to fire the silver bullet (and so more likely to hit). 212.85.6.26 (talk) 14:59, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

What about 'classic werewolf-fighting silver bullets'? (I deduce gold is too soft for even the proponents of such a method of elimination). And remember (a la whichever film) - silver bullets do not work against vampires (category errors cause problems). 212.85.6.26 (talk) 16:00, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
