The map of negative equity looks exactly like a political map of the US, Which means for the first half of this decade Dummocrats liked to look richer than they were by getting $800,000 homes with zero down "liar loans" and now that housing prices are falling they're all upside-down. The FNMA "conforming loan" limit for the last few years has been 417,000 for a single family dwelling, so that 800k figure is off by a bit. Where's that neg. eq. map, by the way?
