The last sentence of the lead is totally incorrect
YHWH is not, in fact, the 'name' of a god, but a name that is used to prevent violation of certain commandments.
YHWH is the literal name of God and nothing else. This is widely known and the position above isn't supported by any source I've thus been able to find on the Internet. Aside from scholarly opinion, YHWH is very clearly clarified as the name of God in the Bible itself, God is referred to mostly as YHWH (which would be confusing if it wasn't His name?),
Not to mention the following:
Exodus 6:3 reads as "I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as El Shaddai, but I did not make myself known to them by my name YHWH."
Leviticus 18:21 reads as, "You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am YHWH."
Leviticus 19:12 reads as "You shall not swear by my name falsely, and so profane the name of your God: I am YHWH."
Exodus 20:7 reads, "You shall not take the name of YHWH your God in vain, for YHWH will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain."
Exodus 31:13 reads, "You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, YHWH, sanctify you."
Also, Isaiah 42:18 reads, "I am YHWH, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols."
Isaiah 45:5, "I am YHWH and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me,"
Psalms 83:18, "That they may know that you alone, whose name is YHWH, are the Most High over all the earth.
Psalms 68:4, "Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is YHWH; exult before him!"
Jeremiah 16:21, "Therefore, behold, I will make them know, this once I will make them know my power and my might, and they shall know that my name is YHWH."
Jeremiah 32:27, "Behold, I am YHWH, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?"
Leviticus 22:32, "And you shall not profane my holy name, that I may be sanctified among the people of Israel. I am YHWH who sanctifies you,"
Genesis 16:13, "So she called the name of YHWH who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.”"
Isaiah 54:5, "For your Maker is your husband, YHWH Sabaoth is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called."
Joshua 1:9, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for YHWH your God is with you wherever you go."
