Pantheacon protest[edit]

Apparently there was a silent protest at a pagan convention earlier this year to Budapest's rather shitty comments about trans folks, and that she was running a "no trans allowed" event at the con. Not really sure how to work it into the article so just dropping the info here if someone else wants a crack at it. The organizer of the protest was pagan writer and social justice advocate T. Thorn Coyle, who posted an open letter about the event here. There's also a bit of information here about the event.

As well, apparently in reaction to the same statements that sparked this protest, at least one group formerly associated with Budapest's organization has broken away, explicitly over trans exclusion policies. Info is here. --Kels (talk) 03:31, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

From what I am getting, Z-Budapest is an all out asshole and makes the Wiccan community look bad. I highly doubt Transsexuals/Transgender people are a threat to women's spirituality. She reminds me of the type of person who thinks "Girl looks at a guy it is fine but if a guy looks at a girl then they are a sexist pig". Is that an accurate description or am I off? --Rationalzombie94 (talk) 04:31, 7 June 2015 (UTC)

I don't understand the article[edit]

I don't understand the problem if they want their own group to be based on physical characteristics. One can found a movement only for left-handed people, or for lens wearers, or anything, what's the problem as long as you can make your own group? Trans can create a trans-only dianic group, or a any women group, what's the problem? If they think it's kind of magic to be born with a womb, and excluding "real" women born without a womb, they also can.

Anyway, all that people who believe in wicca and magics, are not really RATIONAL. I don't understand the title of that wiki neither. It's a wiki that considers that Wicca is rational? — Unsigned, by: ‎88.168.223.232 / talk / contribs
