Principes communautaire should probably be standards de notre communaute

Ce que nos articles sont censes etre should probably be ce qu'est un article de RationalWiki--"Shut up, Brx." 23:33, 10 January 2013 (UTC)

You lose the idea of "intended to be" when you remove censés, and i've almost never seen the English "standards" like "community standards" translated as "standards", rather "normes", "principes" or "critère". Personally, I think it's fine, but it's not my native language. Green mowse.pngGodot She was a venus demilo in her sister's jeans 23:55, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
I think that "standards de notre communauté" feel pretty strange in french ("normes de notre communauté" feel much better), for "censés être", "devraient être" would also work. Jean 5 5 (talk) 00:09, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
(It's your language, and translations aren't supposed to be word for word or literal, so do what makes sense to you. the main issue was "does it link to the right pages, does it work, etc. it does, so go for it!) et bienvenue chez nous!Green mowse.pngGodot She was a venus demilo in her sister's jeans 00:26, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
Le bon mot c'est "normes," sans question. "Censés" aussi. Theory of Practice "Now we stand outcast and starving 'mid the wonders we have made." 00:32, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
How about: "le guide pour les nouveaux-venus et nos normes de commune"
"Si vous souhaitez contribuer, veuillez lire ce que nos articles sont envisagé d'être".
But I'm far away from being sure. It's been more than 8 years since I used French. Btw: Do we have a welcome template in German?--Th. BernhardDas Leben ist ein Prozeß, den man verliert, was man auch tut und wer man auch ist. 14:50, 11 January 2013 (UTC)
"normes de commune" is wrong because "commune" should be "communauté", and "norme" usually refer to objects, not to person, "normes des articles" would be correct, but the meaning is different.
"envisagés" means see as, and is not what we want to say, "devraient sans doute" may be better than "censés" because it translate the "probably", though i'm not entirely sure. Jean 5 5 (talk) 15:03, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

Je transfère ce modèle vers Template. Jean 5 5 (talk) 15:08, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
