2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.

Why do we have this? Is it necessary? I see why TOW needs it because their new event articles turn into a rolling news free-for-all, but that doesn't happen on our little backwater. SophieWilderModerator 09:44, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure I've ever seen it used, but I think it's potentially very helpful for those odd times when an important developing story is getting both edited and viewed pretty heavily on the site. It gives the reader a little bit of understanding that the piece is in progress. But then, the better answer is that nobody should be coming here for stuff like that so someone should delete the template immediately. I'm deleting it. Nutty Roux100x100 anarchy symbol.svg 11:51, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Just had to remove it from articles like Fiscal cliff, which was eight months ago. Goodbye template. SophieWilderModerator 10:08, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
