Template talk:Randombest
For some reason this template is inserting what appear to be two linefeeds before starting with the linked article title. Any clues? human 18:49, 19 January 2008 (EST)
- Part is that there's a nonexistant header line - if it's not there there's a risk of an error message under some circumstances - tother I don't know. SusanPurrrrrrr 19:04, 19 January 2008 (EST)
I suspect we should also block category:conservapedia, but I'm not going to do it myself. human 19:02, 19 January 2008 (EST)
- I guess now we just have to keep reloading my sandbox to see what might need to be fixed - or even changed in terms of article style - before talking to people about going "live". One thing to watch out for are those banner templates - they kind of dominate, and don't look as good in the narrow space available. I already knocked out template:conservapedia's white background because it went outside the border and looked awful. Of course, you removed cp from the random thing, which I agree with. human 19:18, 19 January 2008 (EST)
I could put an invisible flag on selected items for inclusion instead of using the cagetory. SusanPurrrrrrr 19:22, 19 January 2008 (EST)
- Is there a way to include several categories? (see below). I do think that "best of" is a good way to filter for them, although we could always, as you say, use some other trick. Like "coverstory" to give amesg credit ;) human 19:24, 19 January 2008 (EST)
Urgh[edit]
Many "best of" a category articles aren't also in best of RW, and they should be. Crap. It will have to be done manually. human 19:24, 19 January 2008 (EST)
Can put as many cats in as you want but I prefer my idea above then the catergy won't matter @ all SusanPurrrrrrr 19:29, 19 January 2008 (EST)
Yah, sure. "Best of" builds the featured article section. As long as people can figure out how to use the seekrit tag you come up with. Actually, how about something simple, like category:coverstory? human 19:56, 19 January 2008 (EST)
