Template talk:Retired

The template is for users who want their talk page to be "archived and protected from editing". But we don't protect the talk pages of retired users anyway. Check the log - there's only a few protected pages in the user talk namespace, mostly archives. & Most of the protected user pages are active users rather than retirees. Unless we agree that we're going to do this from here on out, we should probably just remove this clause from the template. WèàšèìòìďMethinks it is a Weasel 20:43, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, remove it, since protection doesn't do much good when almost everyone is a sysop anyway. ħuman 20:45, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Edit request[edit]
While I do not intend to make use of the template, I have a sugestion to improve it: using the letter-spacing
CSS parameter rather than manual spaces.
