I love this box, it has the lulz totally pwned.
But I wish the image didn't force it to be so talllll. I wish I could think of a better example. A mad scientist, perhaps? A Tesla coil in action? I dunno. Still, great phrase! humanbe in 19:54, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
- Honestly, it was the first one I found that was half decent. If you come up with a better image, definitely substitute it, I won't mind. --Kels 20:00, 1 June 2007 (CDT)

How about one of these 4 pics? It's Yuri from Command & Conquer: Red Alert (the game has lotsa tesla coils in it!), an evil soviet scientist with mind control powers!
MM, I din't know you were a total geek as well as a communist! Oh, and by the way, here it didn't matter, but you should start struggling to try to sign your commments "in line", easier to read discussions, likathis: humanbe in 20:50, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
- I'd go with the tesla coil one. Sorry, MM, but if you don't play C&C (I don't), it doesn't make any sense at all. And you don't really see the coils well in those pics anyhow. --Kels 21:02, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
- I preferred the mad scientist, but, hey, if you like the Tesla one (which is part of a really cool series of back yard photos we should link to!), run with it. Tell me if you want, and we can link to the person's site from teh UXB. I'll find it again... humanbe in 21:37, 1 June 2007 (CDT)

- We have two Tesla coils in our home, the one is a small table top model, (rather phallic looking) that spits out bolts about 2-3 inches, a bit too loud to run it a lot: the sickly sweet smell of the ozone produced is nauseatingly good. The other one is a wee bit larger, the power source is a 72,000 volt Neon sign transformer to feed the bank of 12 capacitors each being 10Kv rated so's they don't burn out, they feed the primary which is quarter-inch copper tubing kept aprat (from itself) with cable ties and bits of 1/2 inch PVC piping; the spark gap is a bit too large to run without help so there is an old vacuum cleaner motor to suck the trail of electrons from one side to the other before going up to the secondary windings which is a 2 foot section of PVC wrapped about 2000 times with thin (coated) copper wire; the toroid is a doughnut (no-hole) shaped stryofoam covered in Aluminium foil: this device throws off bolts about 3- 4 feet and is very loud. Great for Halloween parties...BYOFC (bring your own Faraday Cage). ~~ C®acker 22:37, 1 June 2007 (CDT)
