Just remember, its a grand illusion
My god, you know styx??????
I've been to a Styx concert.
Dir En Grey. L'Arc En Ciel. X-Japan Miyavi Gackt Alice Nine. An Cafe. ........ Not a single American concert. o______o
I missed out on Jean Jacques Goldman when I was 16, so the only concert i've been to is Sean Cassidy when I was 8???, and Neil Diamond.
The only concerts I've been to are Leo Kottke (it was my parents thing, I was just along for the ride), and Serj Tankian.
My brother can be so adorably protective at times.
"You realize that most of the people there will be loud and headbanging, and not quietly standing there appreciating the poetry of the lyrics, right?"
Afterwards, he made me promise to never go to another concert again until I was 21, because the venue we went to served alcohol in the only seating area, and he refused to leave me by myself, so he had to stand for two hours.
AWWW~ How...cute...and...annoying. I sneaked off to a Dir En Grey concert when I was 15. Then I got a plane ticket to LA, California for a major J-Rock concert when I was 16...No one could stop me.
Do you people not have local bands or something? Most of them are shit but they will inflate your concert/indie-peen and there's always the rare diamond in the rough.
We do. I know a few of them. Then some of them I actually know because I'm friends with them. I don't go often though.
Mid-Willamette Valley. All local bands are middle-aged guys playing in bars.
NOWAAAY! I love Leo Kottke...That crazy mofo.
I hadn't heard of him before the concert, but I came away quite liking him. His music was fine, too.
Slide + fingerpicking = win (Heh, just realized I picked one without slide, so here ya go.)
Wow. He is good.
