2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Reality check

First of all, on Special:NewMessages, click Mark all as read. Then, click ignore AGAIN on the header of this thread. Then, don't post on my talk page.

Did that. The "ignore" link doesn't go away when I click ignore. Instead it takes me to a page with only this thread on it. Clicking the blue star on this one-thread-page does not turn the star white.

This doesn't require scripting enabled, does it?

It works without javascript, but it's better with it. Regardless, the ignore button should work.

-- Nx / talk06:51, 4 January 2011

Should the ignore button change to "observe" immediately after you click it? It is definitely not doing that for me. I tried with Chromium also.

<not required reading> Chromium is what you use? ...or Chrome on Microsofties Windhoes? You don't have to answer that.

I guess I am the only one and this is just a big coincidence that it just happened to be the person who knows the sekrits of the RationalWiki voting machines. </not required reading>

If you have javascript, it should change to observe.

Oh, so it is different without scripts.

I found that they are appearing in the threads section of my watchlist, where I could remove one.
