Downtown
Yeah. Just for the heck of it. :-) I'm generally down town Tuesdays and Thursdays, if that is every a place you hang out. Today, however, I'm home. sorta "sick" sorta "sick of work". :-)
Tuesdays and Thursdays are Discounts for Cabal Members days :-)
There is no Cabal.
ouch, hope all is well, busy wise.
(Ie., there's good busy and really fucking sucky busy).
It wasn't really fucking sucky busy, I just couldn't get out of work at a reasonable hour. I think I'm more likely to get downtown this week, like tomorrow, if you're so inclined.
Unfortunately, one of the lawyers at the firm is going into the hospital Wednesday, so we are booked for the week. But once this week is done, it slows down until June. :-)
In theory, I should be downtown on thurs, and next twooosday/thurs. I'm trying to set a regular tues/thurs schedule for what that's worth.
I plan on being at Rock Bottom for their 6 pm free beer tapping with a few friends (on this Thursday).
6 pm free beer? what kind?
Cider? seriously? I love cider.
I'm hoping to be at Rock Bottom right before six (if traffic is good and I can maybe sneak out early).
Oh Frick. I forgot this. and it was cider, too. Grumb.es.
so sorry!
hope you had a great time with your friends, though.
No worries. My friend's wife punched me in the mouth, which was hysterical, but otherwise we had a fun time. The cider was on the strong side.
Must hear more of this story!
Basically, I was playing with a shaker of parmesan cheese...she had thrown some on my shoulder to make it look like I had dandruff. So I decided to troll her by unscrewing the cap to the point where it looked like it was still on, then tipped it upside down carefully to let a little come out of through the slits into my hand, like I was going to throw cheese on her shoulder. When I righted the shaker, she took it away from me like I was a child. Then she went to pour some on my hand...and the lid came off. Cheese everywhere, laughter all around the table. I taunted her with a "Trollololol!" and she punched me in the arm. I didn't stop laughing, so she said "Don't make me hit you again!" and I said (playfully) "Do it, bitch, do it!" And she did, this time right in my mouth. Stunned silence for like a second, then hysterical laughter from everyone including myself. Blood all over the receipts and napkins. Apologies were offered but unnecessary. Good times.
...That sounds like my life whenever I'm with my friends. Awesome. Hahaha. Except for me, I used the pepper shaker. My poor friend had pepper all over his speghetti. It was hilarious...mostly 'cause he ate it anyways.
don't know how i missed that. but oh god what a great story!
