To Arthur Schopenhauer draft[edit]
He is a Contrarian Schopenhauer was opposed to Enlightenment.
More or less Hegel's polar opposite. Hegel was a progressive (pan-)theist, Schopenhauer a conservative atheist. Hegel is an obtuse idealist, Schopenhauer a clear cut cynic. Though both are observed to have contributed to totalitarian thinking.
That is to say, neither advocated for particularly good things.
To Communitarianism[edit]
Critic x points out that communitarianism is essentially just neo-liberalism.
To Conservative revolution draft[edit]
From Wikipedia:
- The chivalric way of life they were seeking to achieve was, according to Oswald Spengler, not governed by any moral code, but rather by "a noble, self-evident morality, based on that natural sense of tact which comes from good breeding". This morality was not the product of a conscious reflection, but rather "something innate which one senses and which has its own organic logic." Conservative revolutionaries saw the values of morality as instinctive and eternal, and as such embodied in rural life. The latter became challenged, Spengler believed, by the rise of the artificial world of the city, where theories and observations were needed to understand life itself, either coming from liberal democrats or scientific socialists.
To Christian cinema[edit]
Consider Vatican's list of films that are not on the good list yet + are actually about religion (not art etc.).
The War Room foot thing to racism:
- Apparently meant to be parallel to x. Which is nice and all, but this has literally happened to no white woman in any movie ever – not to mention since the film was written by white guy, there really is a risk of “black people smell different” dehumanization here. As such it can be hard to tell if it really is just Poe's Law at play.
There are also attempts to hijack Arabs and Asians based on religion.
Stephen Baldwin 2013 tax evasion
Add to list:
- The Reconciler 2015
- The Case for Christ 2017
- Teenage Conflict 1960
- Don't Touch If You Ain't Prayed 2005
- The Tragedy of Man
- David and Bathsheba (1951)
- Samson and Delilah (1949)
Nice Cage version is one of the rare movies with 0% rating on RT with 25 Top-level Critics weighting in.

To Charlie Kirk[edit]
Kirk has a history of pushing Pro-Russia/anti-Ukraine narratives Russians are taking full advantage to spread misinformation about Kirk for their own political gain
Whitewashing. Kirk is being white-washed as some fucking Christian martyr. Which clashes with the truth. Even some left-leaning news media agree to this BS take, rarely adressing his toxic behavior in fear of repercussions from Right-Wing pressure machine.
Also claim that Kirk was measured and calm in disagreements, which is a lie. He had threatened one of the Young Turks.
JD Vance claimed never racist, despite the fact he did. He began his concluding monologue by describing an article from the progressive magazine The Nation. The article, which had critiqued Kirk’s political legacy, “lied about a dead man,” Vance said. (The “lie” was in describing Kirk as saying “Black women do not have brain processing power to be taken seriously.” In reality, he had listed four prominent Black women, including Michelle Obama and Ketanji Brown Jackson, who he said had benefited from affirmative action, because they “do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously.”) “Well funded institutions of the left lied about what he said so as to justify his murder,” he said. “This is soulless and evil.”
To D'Annuzio draft[edit]
Much like many Fin De oecle figures, he was self-proclaimed “genius” obsessed with culte du moi (the cult of self).
To Friedrich Nietzsche[edit]
The faith men formerly invested in God they would now invest in barbaric "brotherhoods with the aim of the robbery and exploitation of the non-brothers." ~ Tom Wolfe.
If Nietzsche had not ended in imbecility, Nietzscheism would end in imbecility. Thinking in isolation and with pride ends in being an idiot. Every man who will not have softening of the heart must at last have softening of the brain. - G.K. Chesterton
To Great man theory[edit]
As Carlyle was a Romantic, this concept is fundamentally tainted by romanticized delusions.
The American philosophers defending the Great man theory are pragmatists, with there being a strain of irrationalism flowing through their claims.
To Hulk Hogan[edit]
Hulk Hogan’s $5M estate went entirely to son Nick Hogan
To Hegel[edit]
Hegel remarks somewhere that all facts and personages of great importance in world history occur, as it were, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as tragedy, the second as farce. Karl Marx, The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte, Marx Engels Selected Works (MESW), Volume I, p. 398 Marx also mentions Hegel in context of his famous “first time as tragedy, second as farce” quote.
To Irrationalism draft[edit]
"The irrational in the human has something about it altogether repulsive and terrible, as we see in the maniac, the miser, the drunkard or the ape." - George Santayana (George Santayana, Marianne S. Wokeck, Martin A. Coleman, James Gouinlock (2013). “The Life of Reason or The Phases of Human Progress: Reason in Society, Volume VII, Book Two”, p.44, MIT Press)
Beware the irrational, however seductive.” - Christopher Hitchens, Letters to a Young Contrarian
Men, believing in myths, will always fear something terrible, everlasting punishment as certain or probable . . . Men base all these fears not on mature opinions, but on irrational fancies, that they are more disturbed by fear of the unknown than by facing facts. Peace of mind lies in being delivered from all these fears. - Epicurus
Add Whiteheadianism
19th century irrationalism are all sub-schools of either Romanticism or German Idealism.
Many irrationalist philosophers don't like Hegel because he puts a lot of importance on logic, has a very organized way of thinking, and believes that history and human development follow a logical path. These philosophers think this approach limits personal freedom and doesn't take into account the chaotic, personal side of life.
Theosophy is usually not seen as a rationalist philosophy, even though it tries to combine spiritual ideas and philosophy with a scientific and logical approach. It often fits into a framework called "rational mysticism" or "integral knowledge," as promoted by the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy. While Theosophy aims to mix scientific understanding with deeper inspiration, its main beliefs are based on mystical traditions and focus on achieving spiritual awakening and a direct link to divine realities that go beyond what can be explained by pure reason or scientific proof.
Thomas Mann referred to Ludwig Klages (1872-1956) as a "criminal philosopher," a "Pan-Germanist," "an irrationalist," a "Tarzan philosopher," "a cultural pessimist... the voice of the world's downfall.”
Marxist theoretician Georg Lukacs postulated that irrationalism is essentially nothing but a massive panic attack by the bourgeois class in response to the Great Enlightenment, who fear losing their power. Lukacs deems that the said philosophy was essentially only built to justify the existence of the bourgeois.
