2025 RationalWiki 'Oregon Plan' Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff—we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $10, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

BrainMop.png As a confirmed mustard jar for taking on this job as a Sysop on RationalWiki: I, Dark Paladin X, pledge to only block users if they ask for it, or insert unfunny vandalism.
I furthermore pledge that if I indulge in secret private conversations about you, we will make a formal report to the mob. Is that all?
If you impugn my motives without warrant, or challenge my "AUTHORITY", er, there is nothing I can or will do.

Let's see what I can say about myself. I have a strong liberal/agnostic point of view; I'm a college student; I voted Obama in the 2008 presidential election; I enjoy playing video games (particularly Super Smash Bros Brawl and Guild Wars), which I always think that the right-wing nuts like Glenn Beck and Jack Thompson are trying to ban/censor video games; I admire some aspects of Japanese culture since I find Japan to be more liberal than United States (which is why I happen to enjoy anime); I'm open to all types of music as long as the music doesn't advocate some form of violence against some group of people; and my favorite Rock Band is Rise Against (and recently Eyeshine from my favorite anime VA Johnny Yong Bosch). Oh yea, and I do have a Gaia Online account (don't mind about those images of Pokemon and Lucario, since I see him as the Pokemon version of Chuck Norris [in addition to seeing that Lucario represent liberalism to Pokemon]. And yes, Lucario does appear in SSBB and I mostly play as him. Other than that, I really don't like giving personal information about myself.
