User:Forerunner/Cabinet of Donald Trump
This is a sandbox page created due to the media attention to Donald Trump's choosing of cabinet staff. It should be noted that most of these choices are merely recommendations which Congress can veto in favour of alternate candidates.
Cabinet officials[edit]
Office | Holder | Comments |
---|---|---|
Vice President | Mike Pence | Religious fundamentalist; hates gay people, in love with a warped concept of "religious freedom", governor of Indiana - and he still seems comparatively sane, when it comes to stuff like going to see Hamilton and not embarrassing himself |
Secretary of State | Rex Tillerson | CEO of ExxonMobil; has previously met Vladmir Putin. |
Secretary of the Treasury | Steven Mnuchin | Former Goldman Sachs banker. Worked with George Soros. Weren't they the people Trump supporters wanted /out/ of US politics? |
Secretary of Defense | James Mattis | |
Attorney General | Jeff Sessions | Too racist to become a federal judge, he'll be a great |
Secretary of the Interior | Ryan Zinke | Former NAVY SEAL and JSOC's leader for the Middle East during the Iraq War. Believes climate change to be a serious threat of instability in certain regions known to fall into civil wars after droughts, but doesn't want environmentalist policies in the US to appear overnight. He's anti-abortion as expected and thinks that the ACA is waste that could be spent on deploying a ground army to fight DAESH. Has condemned Richard B. Spencer and the alt-Right of being a gang of anti-semites. Sometimes exaggerates what he's talking about to gain support, such as calling Clinton the anti-Christ in an electoral campaign. |
Secretary of Agriculture | TBA | |
Secretary of Commerce | Wilbur Ross | |
Secretary of Labor | Andrew Puzder | Against the minimum wage; CEO of CKE Restaurants, a burrito corporation. |
Secretary of Health and Human Services | Tom Prince | Opposed to universal healthcare on the grounds of "health freedom". |
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development | Ben Carson | Neither willing nor able to fill the post he has been nominated to - according to none other than Ben Carson |
Secretary of Transportation | Elaine Chao | |
Secretary of Energy | Rick Perry | Has previously insisted the department be abolished. |
Secretary of Education | Betsy DeVos | Wife of the president of Amway |
Secretary of Veterans Affairs | David Shulkin | |
