RationalWiki's 2018 Fundraiser

There is no RationalWiki without you. We are a small non-profit with no staff — we are hundreds of volunteers who document pseudoscience and crankery around the world every day. We will never allow ads because we must remain independent. We cannot rely on big donors with corresponding big agendas. We are not the largest website around, but we believe we play an important role in defending truth and objectivity.

If everyone seeing this today donates $5, we will meet our goal for 2018.

Fighting pseudoscience isn't free.
We are 100% user-supported! Help and donate $5, $20 or whatever you can today with PayPal Logo.png!

Reason for participating in Rational Wiki - On (21/01/2015)- To explore issues of authoritarianism, undue weight and pseudo-scientific defenses against the argument that Patrick Matthew should be awarded complete priority over Darwin and Wallace for his prior discovery of the theory of natural selection. Moreover, to discuss the implications for Darwin's and Wallace's claims to have independently discovered natural selection in light of the newly discovered data about who did read Matthew's (1831) book and the roles they played thereafter in influencing and facilitating the pre-1858 work of both Darwin and Wallace on natural selection.

I created a Rational Wiki Essay page on Matthew, Darwin and the rules of priority.--Nullius 14:45, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
